Our Comprehensive Approach to Health and Recovery
Clients come to us often wondering why they aren’t succeeding in their attempts to heal. Many have seen specialists, taken prescription medications, and/or undergone surgery. But they obviously aren’t able to heal completely, as they still do not feel well.
Wellness is achieved when the symptoms as well as the root of an issue are addressed. We take the time to understand all of the contributing factors that are causing the imbalance. This is where a big-picture perspective, which holistic health care provides, can make a huge difference.
We call upon a wide range of training and experience to support our clients’ recovery from illness, injury and/or surgery. Clients come to see us for a variety of reasons, including:
- Cognitive health (prevention and recovery from Alzheimer’s, dementia, stroke, concussion, MS, Parkinson’s, etc.)
- Emotional support (individual, couples and family therapy)
- Improvement from sleeping disorders
- Recovery from inflammation/autoimmunity-related illnesses
- Nutritional optimization
- Holistic guidance for diabetes recovery
- Other health and wellness concerns

Taking the Time to Figure Out What Exactly is Happening
For clients experiencing more challenging circumstances, we recommend a more thorough analysis. This is especially important if there are a number of health issues or if much has been tried already without good results.
Comprehensive Blood Analysis Report: This is an inclusive report based on your initial consultation and other diagnostics — including blood work. We take as much time as necessary to understand what is happening to your health. Our report educates you on your current state of health, how you got there, and what you can do to recover.
At the core of this information is an “optimal interpretation” or what some call a functional interpretation of a recent blood test/s.
All blood test results use and include reference ranges on the right side of your results (for comparison). Unfortunately, the reference range is only designed to see if you are in a disease state or not. If you are on a path toward a specific imbalance, reference ranges will not detect this, nor will they identify potential remedies to halt or reverse this direction.
By contrast, optimal interpretation of blood is prognostic and prevention-oriented. Pioneered by Scott Ferguson ND and Dicken Weatherby ND, this way of decoding blood test results provides explicit details about each blood constituent that is out of range. We explain what that means and talk to you about the most appropriate interventions to support recovery.
If you have a recent blood test, we may give you a recommendation for some additional testing. The report contextualizes your results in a framework of known pathology as well as the optimal protocols we know through experience to be the best course of action for your current state of health. If you are on prescription medications, the report includes a contraindication report.
